Tofino, BC. A small town on the western north coast of Vancouver Island. A peninsula where at times you can feel like the waves will wash your car off the highway. If you haven’t been before then you could liken it to the “fictional” Forks (Forks is actually a real place at the northern tip of Washington State) where the Twighlight films are set. Fog, and rain, huge tall Evergreens that tower around you, beautiful sandy beaches with stormy waves, boats, wooden hutted shops, people wandering around in their flip flops and wetsuits. It’s one of the most calming, atmospheric and beautiful places I have ever been.
